Friends,
I hope this email finds you well, whether you’re on holiday, have just returned or are still eagerly awaiting yours. Or – perhaps especially – if you, like me, are working through the summer.
As you may know from earlier newsletters, I’m currently writing my fourth cookbook. I’m currently at the most intensive stage, wrapping up the recipe testing and pulling it all together to a manuscript for my editor to review in September.
I’m not one for doing things by half, so for the next month I’ll be going all in.
In preparation, I need to relieve myself of a few other deadlines. That includes the Meze newsletter, which will be taking a break through the month August. The next edition is now planned for Wednesday 11 September.
The website of free recipes and the newsletter archives remain open for your perusal 24/7, of course.
Paying subscribers won’t, of course, be charged for this period. If you are one, first of all: thanks so much again for your support in making this newsletter happen! Your paid subscription has been paused and will resume only upon my return to a regular schedule on 11 September. In practice, this means your next payment will be pushed out by however many days the break lasts. In the meantime, you should still be able to access all the member recipes.
I’m already looking forward to sharing more exciting recipes, stories and ingredient deep dives with you throughout the autumn. I’ve got many plans, including a bigger relaunch of paid subscriptions, probably from next January. But more on that later!
In the meantime, I hope you have a fabulous August.
With very best wishes from Istanbul ☀️
